Subject: Nema 17 Stepper max rpm
Hi Tom,

I wonder what sort of max rpm I might get out of a nema 17 stepper, 24v power supply, rated 4V, 2.5mH, .95A using the Snapamp. I'll be running bipolar half coil I suppose. I'm just looking for some kind of ballpark number.

I'm hoping to get at least 1000rpm with no load. I'd like a lot more. :-)

I'm just wondering what you think?

I remember you having a video showing the kmotion board running a small stepper pretty fast.....but I don't remember what sort of rpm it was.

Hi Mike,

I would think you could get 1000RPM easily.
